A Journey in Nutrition *

Aliya Ghaznavi, Accredited Practising Dietitian, helps women understand their symptoms, learn what foods and supplements are right for them, and how to actually start managing things like chronic fatigue, gut issues, and how to fuel for success.

Aliya started the business off the back of a diagnosis with endometriosis after suffering for several years with confusing symptoms, lots of tests and no answers, trialling different management strategies and finding no relief. After getting her diagnosis and Dietitian accreditation, Aliya launched Ascend Women’s Health AU to create a space for women living with chronic illnesses to turn to for guidance and symptom management.

Living with a chronic condition like endometriosis or PMOS is tough already, and knowing how to manage symptoms is an entirely different problem in itself.

At Ascend Women’s Health AU, Aliya provides 1:1 support for women struggling with their nutrition, but she has a particular interest in endometriosis, PMOS (formerly PCOS) and menopause due to the under-representation of these conditions. In the online clinic, get personalised diet advice, supplement prescription, and learn how to fuel your body properly.

Behind the Brand

Aliya is an Accredited Practising Dietitian from Sydney on a mission to help women with chronic illnesses find the right management strategy for their symptoms. She is passionate about women’s health because of the indifference in society regarding diagnosis and treatment of conditions like endometriosis, PMOS (Formerly PCOS), and menopause. Aliya recognises the significant role nutrition plays in remedying several of the distressing symptoms these conditions bring, and she wants to be part of the solution.

In her free time, she likes to read books, drink vanilla iced lattes, and work on her manuscript for a historical-fantasy book which she hopes to publish soon. She completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) at the University of Wollongong, and has committed to continued learning in a big world of nutrition discoveries.
